The first blairs I ever purchased

FR Mar 03, 2006 07:32 PM

A fella in tucson caught a gravid blairs on the road between Comstock and pandale, it was a lite phase.

He hatched the babies and this one was the dwarf and was cheap. So I bought it. He grew to 53 inches. And was super lites.

I believe that was in 1972. The male fathered many many offspring.

In his clutch, there was eight babies, one was odd. I got that one too. These two became the start of a striped line. later

Nice Frank, and that was really something back then...you used to have a real beast you named "Arnold" (our Ca. Governor was a body building champ back then), is that him? If not, I would love to see a photo of what was then the best "blairi" most of us had ever seen. I am looking forward to seeing some photos of what was then a real pioneering effort in herp husbandry.
