I have 1.1 JCPs that we bought as babies in Nov. of 04. We (My husband and I) are more familiar with boas and the JCPs kinda got off to a rough start with us as we didn't have them in the right conditions. We almost lost them.=( We have them set up right now and have had them set up right for a while now but we do plan on breeding them later down the line. My question is about weight. I put her on a scale today and she is 403 grams. I was wondering if that is around the right size for a yearling or if they are still behind because of there rough start. They are both pounding 2 adult MICE (Darn JCPs and their RAT isues) a week and never refuse food. Anyone with some size experince on a yearling and it's weight would be most apprciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Erin

Erin, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. I have very well-fed yearlings that aren't at that weight yet. I also have others that are over that weight slightly. I hope you guys have better success with them from now on. Glad to hear they are doing much better.
