I picked up some Adobe tiles I was going to use under my humid hide, but then I started wondering, if I use a UTH, wont they heat up just like a heat rock and burn them???

They won't burn as long as you control the temp with a rheostat, or other thermostat. I had that concern as well and had posted earlier if i should layer a few tiles (maybe 2 or 3) to help prevent it from getting to hot. Jag posted back to me that one layer should be Ok with a rheostat
