Enclosure size

Blissguy123 Jul 27, 2003 08:12 PM

Just curious, but is a enclosure 20 by 12 large enough for one adult leo. gecko. I think it is just a 20 gal. regular aqaurium, not a 20 gal. long. All the posts about enclosures on this forum have always had 20 gal. long aquariums so i was just curious.

Thanks for any replies.

A regular 20 gal is enough space for a leo, but there is a lot of space wasted as the tank is quite high for a leo and leo's require more ground space. I would recomend getting a 20 gal long, but if you only have a reg. 20 gal you will be able to house your leo comfortably within it. n/p

Yes, that should be enough room for your leo. As BeArDyCrAzY said that is alot of tall space but it wont hurt your leo at all, as long as you dont stack or build anything she can climb on too high.
