not eating in new home.......

jessikaowl Mar 04, 2006 02:00 PM

I sold a female ball a few weeks ago and now she is not eating for her new owners!

He has her in the EXACT same conditions as I did, medium size rubbermaid, under heating, 80 cool side 90 hot side, etc.

She's always taken frozen thawed (wet) rats from me and did not go off feed this winter. He's tried FT wet and dry, and even live. She is not showing any interest!

Any ideas how to have her adjust to her new home and start eating like she was with me?

Thanks for any suggestions,
Jessy

Tell the new owner to leave her alone for a week or two. Shipping her or new surroundings around her cage could have stressed her out. Give her time to adjust.

Out of 20 females I moved last month to new cages(same building), ALL of them quit eating! They are all strong feeders, never had a problem before.

Good luck!
