This little Dwarf boa we call Enigma, We purchased him 4 years ago as a CanCun Mexican Boa, but so far we have not been able to clarify what he is...hence the name "Enigma" He just shed today so I snapped a couple of "Fresh Shed" pics...In person he has a beautiful Burnt Orange hue to him..

I have noticed that your dwarf boa and the aztec below have the same cross pattern on their heads. I have seen a fair amount of boas and I don't remember seeing that cross pattern before. Just something I noticed. Looks like your building a really beautiful collection of dwarf boas.

We have Sonoran Deserts that all have Crosses on their heads, and I have been told that many Central Americans also have that cross, I have sent pictures to almost every Breeder that I can think of that works with CanCuns and they all say he doesn't look like the CanCuns being produced today....I have had suggestions from Mexican Cross...to Venezualen...to Costa Rican Cross...to you name it...Its pretty funny..Thats why we have called him "Enigma" Recently we have been looking at the "Bluefields Boas" that Ron Tremper has been advertising, I sent him pics of "enigma" there does seem to be a resemblence to those boas, but still not excactly the same...He is a very interesting High contrats boa, just wish we could nail down what local he is...If he is a local or just a cross..or what...I told my wife that it seems the best thing to do with him is to either plug him into a morph project or just keep him as a pet...those are the only two options we really have..in my opinion...I don't want to produce offspring of a local when I am not sure what local he is from ya know...lol Thanks for the reply...
