New Granite Pics

EmberBall Mar 04, 2006 04:23 PM

I have had this Granite looking female for a few months now. She is still in quarantine, so I do not have a weight on her, but guess somewhere around 650 grams. I do not know if she is genetic or not, but will try her with my Yellow Belly male when she is ready. She eats rats pretty well after an initial fast when I first got her. She is very cool in person...

She looks great - hope she proves for you!

Looks like you and I were both outside today taking picts in the sun. LOL. I just can't get a good shot of this one, thought maybe I'd give it another try today - no luck - Aww well - will try again another day.

This is "My Snake" he is currently in shed, just got done breeding for the season.

I wish I knew you had an Albino male, would have brought my two adult Het Albino females over for a party I sold my male Albino and just never got around to getting another until this year, but he is only 300 grams, and still a baby. I put my male ghost and male Het Green ghost in with the Albino Het females, so who knows, might get something from them this year.

LOL - ya know - I felt like he was going to waste this season - my hets didn't make size then the one other girl that I wanted to breed him to turned out to be a male (LOL) - Luckily his "experimentation" didn't throw him off - I had some friends local that had some het females to size and liked the odds better with a visual then their hets so we got them all knocked up and should have the first set of eggs around St. Patties day. Anyway - he's still in breeding mode I think and with three weeks off should be able to git-er-done with anything I put in his cage - LOL!

Your guy has great "alien heads." I've never seen that many on one snake.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

I'm very impressed with the detail in your pics. what kind of camera did you use for these? Just curious...

havic Mar 05, 2006 12:24 AM

That would be our new Nikon D50 with a 18-55mm lense on it. Thanks for the complement.
