Breeding isn't just about weight it's also about maturity - your 05 girl may end up at 1500 grams by next season and still not be mature enough to want to breed (hell your 1600 gram 04 still may not be mature enough). Female BP maturity is 2-3 years - do they go sooner - yeah - some do.

How big should they be now - well there is 7 months until you start cooling assuming they will gain 100 grams per month (which is on the high side of average - unless powerfeeding) she would need to be around 800 grams now. Course some will grow faster than others and some will grow longer instead of fatter and will have the weight but not have the proper fat reserves.

In other words - Its a bit more complicated than stuffing them full of rats until the scale hits 1500.
