If I put small baby guppies in his water bowl would he eat them? and if he would eat them would it be safe for him? i'd like to provide the most varied diet possible.

I've never heard of feeding a WTF fish, but I guess it could be possible. THey mostly eat bugs and stuff in the wild, but if you can feed a horned frog fish, I guess you could try with the white's. (I'd call a vet, or talk to one online, to see if they can handle them, or maybe someone on this forum knows!)
but I wouldn't just place it in the water dish, could dirty the water! You could dangle it over your frogs face, or let it flop around in a feeding dish.

well, as for dirtying the water - guppy fry are smaller than about .5cm. I wouldn't worry about the water because its replaced everyday. I'm more worried about whether he could handle the digestion or not.
Ok, but your frog doesn't hunt naturally in water in the wild. IT wouldn't know what to do with a thing in the water I don't think. Sides, you don't want him to ingest a major amount of water while hunting this fish (the frog doesn't come to the food, the food comes to the frog, remember that as well)
