First cluch this year, Pastel x Normal.....

I thought the humidity needed to be about 95%?
yes this is normal i have had 30 clutchs and all dimpile in one way or another i had a clutch dimpile in the first week but they still hached
Totally normal. I don't think I have ever had a clutch that was totally dimpleless. I had one of my normal by pastels lay some eggs today. I took some pictures and are posted below in today's lists under 8 eggs. Look at them for comparison. I consider these 8 eggs healthy and yet they have some dimples and are only less than a day old. Don't increase your humidity too much more.
You have never had eggs that were not dented???
In my experience that is off.
sounds too dry to me.

I would try to increase the humidity...you don't want them to start dimpling too early, in my opinion. What I've done in the past to any clutch that dimples early is to take a plain white paper towel and spray/mist it with water until it's damp (not soaking wet)...then gently place the paper towel over the eggs. You'll see the eggs get back to normal in about a week. You'll want to replace the paper towel every so often. I actually had one clutch that I kept the paper towel on up until a two weeks before hatching and all babies hatched just fine. This will solve the problem in the short run...but for the long run I would look at a more permanent way to increase the humidity.
Hope that helps. These are just my opinions and suggestions that have worked for me. Good luck.
