New babies (E. prasina)

LdyDrgn Mar 04, 2006 10:26 PM

My husband picked these up at the local Expo today while I was at work. They are WC and very young. The male has eaten once for the dealer that had them imported, the female has not eaten yet. Donnie also bought a couple of house geckos in case we need to do some scenting *grin*

I've been wanting to get some of these for quite a while now. I hope they live...

argh, knew it was too good to be true. They are Philothamnus but unsure of the species.

Nice snakes, but I hope you didn't pay for these what people normally pay for Elaphe prasina.

No, that was what was so shocking... that they were so cheap! LOL Now I know why. So you think P. natalensis?

They are supposed to be frog eaters, by the way.

They have a bluish hue to their faces if that you can't see in the pics. Any help on species identity would be appreciated.

Nevermind.. they are semivariegatus.
