I have heard that corn snakes sometimes hold sperm and have a second clutch. I have also heard that people use a different stud for the second clutch. How do you know which is the father of the second clutch, if you use two different males. I mean besides if you use two totally different morphs. I would imagine then you could tell who the father was by the babies. Second question. I know we have touched this topic before, but want to ask again. Can two snakes father the same clutch? I know in most animals (garter snakes for instance) put a type of plug in the female so that no other male can fertilize the female he mated with. Do corns do this?
