I have friends, one in particular, that really cracked the code with these guys. They are so slender that they were constantly escaping. He had an artificial tree nearby and they always went to it. Eventually, he stopped trying to keep them in a cage and they now live - full time - in the tree. He says they rarely leave it. He keeps it in his snake room which is about 80 degrees. The snakes just sit in the tree almost all of the time and, once a week, he feeds them lizards on forceps.
Thanks for the information. A couple questions: what size tank did he have them in,what kind of lizards did he feed them, and were the lizards dead or alive? I do not think i would ever have a free-roaming snake in the house, too many risks. Thanks again for the info.
No tank at all. The artifical tree is about 4.5 feet tall. The type you ee in a doctor's office. The snakes very rarely leaves the tree. He feeds live lizards.
