Small range in northeast Brazil and French Guiana. Pattern looks intermediate between murinus and notaeus, with a mostly brown background coloration.

Wish I could read Dutch!

If you search Lutz Dirksen and Eunectes beniensis or Eunectes deschausenseii you will find his site AND google has a translation available for you to click on. Are you going to make it down south a bit this summer again? There is some new stuff and the rattlesnake exhibit is open.

I've heard of Rob's real cool additions. I'm really look'n forward to seeing the O. hannah, still, my favorite hot snake.

Unfortunately I have to see the other side of the in-laws this year, (my wife has more family than anyone I've ever known) down in Texas. It won't be a total loss though cuz I"m super psyched to see some rattlers!

If all goes well I'll be moving to southern Wisconsin the year after next to go to vet school, but if it doesn't work out, I'll have to finish school here in Canada (about a tenth of the cost).
I look forward to hitt'n the feilds with ya one of these days though

Ian
