There's one in a pet store near my home that looks a bit like yours. I get it out of the cage about every week or two when I have time to visit the shop. I'm trying to keep it socialized enough to be a good pet someday. Furthermore, back when no one in the pet store wanted to touch the snakes, I could get the snake out and ask them to change the water. Eventually, they just let me change the water myself. He (maybe she) has been looking very thin recently, but when enough people told them that he/she was too thin, they started feeding the poor thing every day. The fact that it wouldn't refuse a meal is more evidence that it was too thin. I asked them to cut back to a once every five day schedule. I'll be interested to see what they do from here. Apparently, this snake previously belonged to the same guy who had my California Kingsnake. If this store ever has a going out of business sale, I may look at buying the thing. I'm not going to pay $100 for it right now. I really don't want a third snake yet, but I've thought of rescuing the poor guy.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
