how often do your babies shed? of my trio of stripes, only one has shed since august, they eat f/t rats every 5-7 days ans are growing, as well as getting some color, but not shedding. any thoughts on this would be great,

No biggie Jeff. Once they get onto bigger prey items they might start shedding a little more. I have two babies that I think have only shed once since August.

Interesting... all my babies have shed around every 2 months or so since their first...

I think mine has only shed 4-5 times in the year an a half that I've had her...

Chris, some do some don't! It seems to have alot to do with color change as well. My babies that have been shedding alot are lightening up alot more than the others that aren't shedding as much. It depends probably more on the individual snake than the externals that you are in control of.

So that baby is from August of '05? Can you post a pic w/ a quarter or something for size comparison? The blood I bought 4 days ago is SUPPOSEDLY from Nov. '05, but she looks just as big as that one of yours that's pictured. I bought her from Kansas City Reptile Distributors, which is a decently established company, so I guess I can trust him.
