I have a beautiful jungle carpet that ovulated about 3 weeks ago. I was very excited to see this ovulation because this is my nicest pair of jungles. But shortly after she ovulated she went into shed, and shed 2 weeks later. I know usually they shed about a month after ovulation, so I am wondering if anyone else has had any carpets go thru their per-lay shed this early. I can feel something in her belly weither good eggs or bad eggs I guess I will have to wait and see.

Alittle backround on this female, last year she was bred to the same male, and did the same thing went into her prelay shed early, but had a bad shed I think (she was in the care of someone else at the time). She went on to lay 18 eggs, 16 of those were bad, and 2 of them looked like they might be good, they went on to hatch.

I guess I am wondering if she is going to do the same thing again. Any help would be much appreciated.
