This female is 100% het for albino.
I'm hoping to have her ready to breed nest year.

Great looking snake Tim! I like the contrast in colors. I also enjoyed reading your article in the last Reptiles magazine. Good work! Hope you have a great and productive year.

Hey Nathan,

A belated congratulations to you - I saw your wedding announcement in the newsletter of the herp society you belong to (I am editor of "Notes fron NOAH," so I read a large number of herp newsletters, due to the exchange program).

Good luck with all your projects in 2006!

Tim

I don't usually like the dark ones but that snake is HOT! Thanks for posting..

Doesn't "Bi" mean two colors? That looks like a dark tricolor to me. I thought a Bi-colored honduran was a "red phase" tangerine?

tspuckler Mar 06, 2006 09:15 AM

The triads, which are usually yellow, are suffused in black, making a "bi-color," (red and black banded) snake.

Your right technically but lets not confuse your dark tri-color with the highly desired "red phase" tangerine. I think yours would make a great snow, depending on how much yellow is left after the black is removed from the albino trait.
