...is it frustrating when waiting to see if a female is going to lay eggs?

Did I really see them mating?
Is she gravid or just fat?
Are the nesting area choices good enough?
Have I fed her enough?
Has she had enough calcium?
Are the temperatures good enough?
Have I cleaned the water enough?
Are those eggs in her, or am I seeing things?
Do I have a incubater with the proper temperature
and humidity?

Thank you for giving me a laugh. Once I said something about getting old. Most people think time goes by faster and faster as you age. But not me. How do you make time slow down? by waiting, thats how. I am always waiting for this to hatch or that to breed or to nest. or something to raise up. Each year seems like a decade. And monitors because of their long incubation periods are the worse. Or is that the best? You see, you live longer, or it just seems that way.

Also, another funny part is, you play your cards and then work the hand your dealt. Once the ball is rolling, there is not all that much you can do to fix it, just keep it rolling. Cheers
