Very nice Eric. He is getting big. I'm sure you have big plans for him. Keep the pics coming.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

I've been wondering what all the fuss was about. Those pics are so much better then what I've seen before that now I can see why people would be excited about them.

Yours looks great!! I was wondering if there were any others out there......the head says it all!!

pythonregius35 Mar 06, 2006 03:48 AM

I've seen quite a few Hypermels that were proven NOT to be genetic with the same head pattern. The belly pattern is what says it all!! If you didn't get yours from the already proven line, he's definately the closest I have seen to the Sables. What's the belly look like??

BrandonBoeke Mar 06, 2006 09:34 AM

He's got a clear belly. Where can I find more on these sables and supersables? Thanks.

pythonregius35 Mar 06, 2006 04:05 PM

not a sable then. To the best of my knowledge Sables are one of two Co-Doms that have patterned bellies and not clear. The other one I believe, is the Spotnose!!
Is there anymore out there?? I'm not sure, although I have heard a WC female was picked up at the last White Plains show! I'm still waiting for pics!
I have a website in the works, big pain!!

You can add womas to the list. They don't have clear bellies.

I believe that Red Axanthics also do not have a clear belly.

Cool....didn't know that. Seen them, never checked it out!!!!!Thanks, Tony!!

BrandonBoeke Mar 06, 2006 05:45 PM

I can't quite say, I know there are another few out there, but they may not want to release it. Here's the thing, though......there were 2 others in the clutch exactly like mine (same clutch, CH), although sold seperately but by the same guy. Only time will tell.........

pythonregius35 Mar 07, 2006 07:35 AM

Sounds like you may have another hyper line!! Keep me posted as to the results.

BrandonBoeke Mar 08, 2006 01:17 AM

My male is weighing in at about 400 grams, and doesn't want to breed this year. BUT, the other male in the clutch that my friend owns should be breeding by now. He's a big breeder, so if it proves, I'm sure he'll post. Take care, and good luck with yours, he should be interesting to cross with!!

Erik, Keep up the good work. Don't let anyone else try to take credit for your snake. NICE! REALLY NICE!
