I got mine from Rick Krumrine Reptiles (PA). She's CB. I started her on pinky mice (unscented) until she was big enough to take rat pinkies. Soon as I finish up this batch of food, I'll be moving up to fuzzies. She's taking 2-3 pinky rats per feeding. Today she was begging for a few more lol. Unfortunately he does not expect to have any babies this year. I'm gonna be looking for a nice male to match up to her next year or the year after.

Excellent! This is something I doubt has been documented anywhere else. I'll definitely be referencing your photos in the future when questions about melanism and ontogenic changes in color come up.

"The irrational fear of snakes is the only excuse a grown man has... to act like a complete sissy" - Colchicine

... nature has ceased to be what it always had been - what people needed protection from. Now nature - tamed, endangered, mortal - needs to be protected from people. When we are afraid, we shoot. But when we are nostalgic, we take pictures.

I just wish I hadn't missed out on the May 2005 photos when she actually developed those brighter yellows before doing that complete turn around and going dark in July.
