ZanMan will be here on Friday!

lele Mar 05, 2006 03:34 PM

We will have above freezing night temps later this week so he will be here Friday morning!

Question about feeding before shipping - is it best not to feed him at all or a bit in the morning with time to digest. She'll be dropping him off at 5:00pm and he will arrive by 10:30 (at the latest to my local feed store) Friday morning. Btw, he is 3 months this weekend! He will celebrate his 3rd birthday with me

thanks! Here's my favorite pic of him (just over 2 months)

Oh how sweet looking he is, bet your gonna be like a kid when ya get your package, hehehhe !

I don't think it should be a problem if he eats early in the morning and is hydrated, and has time to bask for most of the day. If he were going out in the morning, I would say not to feed him, but the fact he does not go out until 5:30pm I think is fine.

If I ship my hatchling collareds/ or agamas, out late afternoon (4:00 ish ) I always feed them at 7 - 8 in the morning and let them bask. I then turn off their heat about 1 hour before I need to get them ready for the shipping container.

Alot of people do not like it when they relieve themselves in the box, and will hold off with the food, but will make sure they are hydrated.

Very Neat/happy news lele, can't wait till ya get him .
