Bloodred Update

scottyo2u Mar 06, 2006 02:36 AM

Thnaks for the replies about our bloodred. He seems fine now. Right after he shed he was back to his normal self. I have been watching him for over a week now and I haven't seen anymore head shaking. I actually found out that he is quite the aggressive eater. He struck at the f/t pinky and ate it while I was holding him. Does anyone else have a snake like this? I took a pic but it is kind of blurry, I took it in a hurry so I wouldn't’ scare him.

Jetzen over on the kingsnake forum has a lot of them. Onyx as ben known to hand feed as well. I figure if I am going to be bitten on feeding day I may as well make it interesting.

I have a 3 year old normal who's as happy to eat in my hands as anywhere else.
