It's going to be a busy year...

ECC Mar 06, 2006 06:30 AM

I brought everything up and out of hibernation right after new years. At least 12 of my breeding pairs have copulated. My Hatteras and Ocracoke OBK's locked up this weekend -- and one of my Pinellas County, Florida King pairs did as well.

Enjoy...

Hey Peter,

What state do you live in?
My stuff is still in brumation. I usually bring stuff up in April but it seems the weather is sweet and is changing that. The trees outside are blooming white flowers and it is fantastically warm. I think its time for me to bring stuff up already.

1) turn up heat
2) order mice
3) pick up new shavings
4) get more rubbermaids

Man its going to be a busy year for me.

I live in Maryland. The reason I am early is a little bit funny. Here goes:

Normally I put stuff down after Thanksgiving because that is when rfle season starts for deer in Maryland. I bought a muzzleloader this year which meant I could start killing deer in mid-October instead of late November. So.... I put the snakes down before Halloween and brought them up right after New Years.

Rainer, by the way, I am going to visit my wife's family soon in Carroll County, Georgia for a few days. Do you live within driving distance of that county?

...I wanna know if you got any meat with that new muzzleloader!

I love those Pinellas, FL kings. Are they from Krysko's line?
