Can someone tell me how to tame a smaller lizard? My Armadillo Lizard is probably about 4-5 inches long and really fast. It hides whenever I walk into the room and darts all over the place when I try to handle it. It'll about double in size as an adult, so I figure it'll slow down a bit then. But is there a way to tame it so it doesnt run from me? I dont need to handle this guy, really. Just when i'd need to clean the cage. But i'd really like it to not run from me when i'm in the room. Thanks.

They're skittish by nature. I've had two now for about a year and just within the last three or four months have they calmed down enough that I can walk up to the tank without them spookin'. LOL, they've learned that I'm the lunch wagon. I don't handle mine much, but I suppose if you spent some time at it every day they would calm down eventually. Good luck.

I know this is probably a dumb question, but, do you think the Armadillo Lizard would be fine housed with a Leopard Gecko?
