my last post
http://forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=1015464,1015464

So I got him shotgunned, heard all about the no-no's of that! my question is, "should I give him his 2nd and last dose?"

he slightly improved:
-his eyes are now open (some times only one. and it tends to switch, one day only the left eye is open - the next only the right eye is open. Today both eyes are open!
-he has put on weight (i've ben force/assisting his feedings), but I still haven't seen him eat on his own.
-I give him "The Shower" for about 30 - 45 min each day or two! (I started to see improvement after starting this, mainly opening of his eyes)
-he still holds that reddish colorduring the day, but by night his true beauty shines. Which makes me think that he is stressed!
-he is pooping, but it doesn't look normal (No brown! only white....maybe because I feed him chopped chrickets mixed with ensure plus and Pedialyte, its more on the liquid side (not too much though)

do you think the parisites are blocking his colon? he's pooping!
is it safe to give him his last dose! we all know the vet will say to do it, how about you!
I can post pictures if you like!
Thanx again,
MIKEY

Is this a parasite treatment or an antibiotic you are talking about? Sorry, I missed the earlier posts. If its a parasite treatment I would hold off and do it after he is recovered and acting normally. Nothing is blocking his intestine if he's passing anything.
