general question about lifespan

just curious---can beardies just die one day like goldfish can? does it take a very serious illness to kill a beardie?

Although Beardies can hide symptoms of illness for quite some time and to the amateur herper an illness can seem to come on very quickly. If serious illnesses aren't treated promptly death can occur. I would recommend reading up on beardies on some of the great beardie websites here.
