Proper size for waterbowls

ronin1360 Mar 07, 2006 12:11 AM

I'm just wondering how big a waterbowl needs to be for a BP of any given size. I have heard that the bowl needs to be big enough so that the snake can fit its whole body into it. But I've also seen pictures of waterbowls that are clearly not big enough for a full soak and only allow the snake to soak parts of its body at a time.

I feel like when my BPs become adults I'm not going to be able to fit 2 hides AND a waterbowl that's big enough for a full soak inside their tubs!

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

We go with small/medium bowls for drinking and offer a soaking sized bowl once weekly for a day-over night. They seem to like this and sheds are better. You're right it's real hard to fit all of that for every day.
