My new monitor .. picked it up yesterday .. the colour has been washed out by the flash but this lizard is relly really yellow. Also took the pics just after getting him home so a bit stressed and cool.

Its as calm as a tame dog and chomped three rats this morning ... woohoot I'm a happy happy man.

Wow, what a great looking monitor! And if it is tame (and not sick), than congrats on a fab monitor. I am jealous. Are you in the state?

tame .... hmmmm interesting term to use with a monitor eh?

Actually it is pretty darned placid ... and not sick at all ... scoffing rats like a good un !!.. still has very sharp claws though !!!

I'm in the UK, there are only 4 over here so feel pretty darned lucky to have got him.

Currently he's about 4ft and I expect him to reach about 6ft .. I am really looking forward to working with him over the next few years.
