German Giants are regular bearded dragons selectively bred for large size. (ie big adults are bred together to ensure offspring will be large, giving proper care etc.) Yellowish german giants, I beleive, were created by breeding in large yellow/red dragons to keep the offspring big but increase the chances of having yellowish/reddish coloration.

Hi, Let me tell you the reason I asked this question. I bred and raise Search and Rescue German Shepherds and Last year my friend who exports dogs for me brought me back a pair of German Giants, the female is GG x Pastel the male GG x Orange GG. And they were bred by a famous GG breeder( mind you his name has slipped my mind) Anyways they looked pretty much like the normals yet are really big( 24 and 26 inches) Well in their first clutch I had the most beautiful babies all colors of the rainbow. So hence my question. No matter what they are they have super babies but just thought I'd ask the question. I did realize normal Beardies and GG anre the same except for size but read somewhere that GG are dull colored! Thanks for your help and if you have any more info let me know. Thanks Deb
Here is some ggx gg pastel baby pictures.
