Dual Probe Thermo-Hygro

ronin1360 Mar 07, 2006 06:13 PM

I just bought some of the dual probe hygrometer-thermometers and they are pretty cool. I'm just wondering where is the best place to put the probes? Near the substrate? A couple inches above? I'm using these to measure temps and humidity for the hot spots in my racks- one uses belly heat and the other uses back heat. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

one probe is for temp and the other is for humidity. im going to take toshas advice and lower both probes onto the substrate because thats the information i need to know.

Measure where your snake is going to be - substrate level. Try inside a hide, over the heat source, cool end (if that interests you) etc. You can play around, move them about to see where you prefer them. Really dependant on what you want to know I guess.
