What were the circumstances surrounding your bite? What did it feel like, what did you think/do?

This is something I think about a lot and, if you are comfortable discussing it, I would love to hear more about it.

It is much too long of a story to post here. It involved a helicopter medi-vac and is not an experience I would wish on anyone.

No, there are no L. zonata in this area. In fact it is very xeric. There is a population of Sceloporus magister (a desert species) at Frenchman's Flat.
