There is an aquarium dealer in my area that sells these. Personally, I do not think the dimensions are appropriate for a gtp. They are either not wide enough or not tall enough depending on the size of tank.

If you are researching cages, check out www.pvccages.com

I agree, Jim builds my Chondro cages and I LOVE them. Definitely give him a try - pvccages.com

how good do they hold humidity? how many times a day do you mist them?...they are deff nice cages...im guessing they are made from pvc....which is better then accrylic in my oppinion....what thermostat do you use? sorry for all the questions...just tryin to get the best cage...im also not sure what i want to do yet as far as my hatchling....if i go with these cages i might get one of the smaller ones and move him up in size in a year....what size do you use for adults?

I use the Herpstat thermostats, and LOVE them! Overall, the cages hold humidity as well as you want them to (adjustable vents). I have a couple different sizes, the 24" cubes for larger adults, and the 24"x18"x16" for sub-adults (i also have a baby rack from him). Can't beat them for the money, and Jim is a great guy to work with. I can't wait to get some more cages.

Thanks,

where do you get those thermostats from? those arent the ones on his site if im correct.how do you use them...do you set the temperature you want it to be where the probe is or do you have to do some calibration with a thermometer or laser temp reader? im thinking about getting 2 of the ones you use for sub adults as i have 2 young snakes...a hatchling and yearling....those heat pannels work good to i take it? thanx again

You can order herpstats directly from the company or from MG Reptiles. They are relatively cheap (compared to other proportional thermostats) and work very well. Dion from Spyder Robotics, who makes the Herpstat, is really nice.

Yeah, you can get those from MG Reptiles fairly cheap, and definitely get the nightdrop. I put the probe at the hot end, at the height of the top perch, and I get a nice gradient. You won't regret those cages.
