I heard that the Egyptian Uro are the latgest. How large do they get? Do any other Uro get close to that size?

the biggest egyptians get just under 3 feet. it's only the egyptians that get nearly that big. there is an egyptian subspecies, micropolis (i think that's how it's spelled) that is a little smaller.

a "mid-sized" uro is a mali, males of that species are under a foot and a half.
there are some "compact" uro species, ornates for instance, are smaller than the malis.

Even a smaller uro, needs a substantial enclosure. Please consider this carefully before you dive in and buy and egyptian. Egyptians are usually even tempered and tolerate handling, but the floorspace they need is larger than some studio apartments!
