ATB/GTB/Cook's question

Lampropeltis23 Mar 08, 2006 09:56 AM

Just curious as to what the average adult size of the ATB's and GTB's are. I had a Cook's tree boa once along time ago - it was about 5 feet long and not too thick. At the time I took a 10 gall aquarium and set it on one end so it stood up. Threw in some branches and he seemed pretty happy.

Anyway, I am interested in a ATB but not sure if my home built cages will be large enough for adults. They are the three units built into the middle of the bookshelf. They are 30" tall, by 10" wide and 18" deep. I figured they would be suitable for young ATB's. But before purchasing any I would like to know if I would ever have to move them to something larger as adults.

Thanks for the words

if you could knock out the wall between two of them to make it 30x20x18 i'd say you'd be doing GREAT for an adult.
