gravid veiled spots?

snakeman5124 Jul 27, 2003 11:29 PM

well my female veiled over the last week has begun to develop greenish blue spots, i have heard this means she's gravid but i think she is too small she's only about 3-4 inches snout to vent is this big enough to be gravid?. also is it normal at this size that when stretched way out or puffing up to be able to see outlines of ribs? if not should i just feed her more to "bulk up"? thanks a lot. JK

well my female vields did that to for a lil bit but they r not gravid it just means that they are ready to breed but it sounds like she is young but if u were to breed her weight till she is 1-1 1/2 years old well actually when they are young they just look like they have blue spots its just a green with a blue tent
