I am in the process of making a chameleon cage and I am now thinking practical ways for the drainage, this is what I am thinking to do,
I'll cut a hole in the middle of the cage bottom with the jigsaw and the table beneath so the same hole will join the cage bottom and the container below for collecting the water.I am using a pond liner for covering the bottom,so until now I am left with a cut liner and a hole in the middle of the bottom. How can I direct it properly to the container below? Some kind of cone perhaps?Any ideas?

I use a piece of copper tubing that I had someone "flare" on one end. The flared end fits really well into the hole I drilled in the melamine bottom of my cage and I have attached a drain hose to it and run it into a 5 gallon bucket. Diane
