Veiled breeding prob

Everytime I try to introduce a female to my male, he tries to EAT them! Not just bite, but he actualy sticks his tongue out and tries to eat their feet! He's well fed and the females are average sized adults. Has anyone else heard or had this problem or is it just my male?

Ahahahaha sounds just like my female.
I don't think you can do anything to fix that but get another male, because the male should be ready to mate 24/7, it's the females who need to be receptive.

Here's a pic from blue chameleon adventures:

I've also seen a pic of a male pardalis eating a female pardalis, both adults too.

Man...i feel so sorry for that little carpet chameleon. Looks like a baby pardalis beaing eaten by a bigger one. I also had one of my females try to eat a smaller size female. The funny thing is, the smaller sized female is two months older than the bigger one. She is fine and healthy now. Crazy chameleons!

Sorry I couldn't help myself!
Obviously your male has a strong instinct to feed himself. You probably will never have problems with him not wanting to eat.
