the wildcaught 'Sandblasted Ball' owned by Craig Stewart at The Urban Python.

They both have that 'someone took some sandpaper to them' look going on.

Incredible snake you have there.
Has that 'What the ...???' appearance/charm of a paradox albino.

Thanks for sharing and Best of Luck proving him out.

lol

happysurgeman Mar 08, 2006 10:31 PM

congratulations.
good luck

Paul Edwards Mar 08, 2006 10:39 PM

Got a question for you...how did you wind up with this snake ? I KNOW that the big boys get first shot at this stuff...were "they" offered this specimen and turned it down ? How did you get it if you don't mind me asking ?
Thanks,
Paul Edwards

beau Mar 09, 2006 01:28 PM

This is what happens when you spend a lot of money with certain main importers of balls. You get first crack at stuff before the "big boys" Jon has gotten offers offers from some of those breeders who want to buy this animal.

This isnt the only one he has gotten over the "big boys" But this one sure is nice. Look at that purple, in person, it really is lavender! Cant wait to see the offspring in a few months. Even if they arent co-dom, or dominant. We will see.

good work jon, now when are you sending it to me??

JBrant Mar 09, 2006 04:15 PM

Why should you get it. That thing would do nicely around here.

414reptiles Mar 08, 2006 11:13 PM

that snake is horrible give him to me...just kidding just trying to fire the board up a little and show my sense of humor.... great looking snake ....very unusual...almost looks like a zombie/living dead (in a good weird way lol)...suprised you put it on the board and didnt keep it locked in the vault untill some major event lol I wonder how many of us have the same types of snake locked in the vault...I know I have a few unsual unproven snakes lol

If there are two that are identical...wouldn't that increase the odds that it is actually something? This one belongs to NERD...

.....2 things?.....

2 months ago it was in Africa.............no 6 month quarentine.........that's OK and I am not complaining BUT I am saying that you don't tell the little kids in here that stuff......this forum preaches to quarentine so don't mention other stuff .......just leave it out........

Looks like a ghost.......it's very pretty......nice snake for sure........it actually looks like a very good / light ghost with a skin condition.......alot of the scales look like they have been damaged and now they are darker or whitish.....?........

.......good luck..........breed them by the dozens.........

Much to look forward to on that guy. Hypo-Calico and who knows what else. That is one I would like to see crossed with albino. A color and pattern mutation that works with albino would be good instead of just pattern. Crossed with anything it would be sweet.

Nerd has one just like him in his book on page 281 under unproven morphs.
Its just called- odd pattern. It would be interesting to see what kevin has to say about the trait.
