Any personal experience would be nice, there must be someone how keeps them somewhere?

Nice Plica, I´d say Plica umbra.

They are relatively secretive climbers which do eat a lot of ants in the wild.
Its not necessary to feed ants, but you should try to feed lots of small, strongly chitinized insects.
They need a tall arboreal rainforest setup. Lots of dense foliage to give shelter and relatively dim lights. Anyhow, one smaller but bright and warm basking spot is recommendable.
Females and youngsters have a slender, small and elegant appearance. But you can be very surprised if you see an old big male. These can be very massive my male Plica plica had a body of about the size of the body of a full grown basilisk.
With respect to their needs, I would say they are a mixture of basilisks and Gonocephalus.
Keeping is relatively easy. Breeding less.
I had very limited success with my Plica plica: Many clutches, a few babies and all died sooner or later.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the info,
I temporarily housed him with a pair of Mali uromastyx, I knew this wasn’t the kind of set-up he needs but he seems to enjoy and feeds on crickets well. I will house him better this weekend. Hopefully I can get a female soon.

You positive on the sub specie? Or do you need more photos.

No, I am not absolutely sure. May also be a juvenile Plica plica or -if I am completely wrong- some Tropidurus.
A full Bodyshot would definitely help.
