reticulatedblood Mar 08, 2006 10:30 PM

Hi, my name is matt, i am new to this forum but have been keeping reptiles since i was 8.I have a year old blood python that seems to be constipated. I have never had this problem with any of my other snakes before and was wondering if i could use a needleless syringe to feed her some mineral oil(a small amount of course) to help her defecate.any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey Matt-
What makes you think that your python is constipated? They can and do go for looong periods of time w/o a B.M. If that is the only symptom, you may want to wait and see...
