"Big Hill" locality

pictigaster Mar 09, 2006 03:20 PM

I have a pair of "Big Hill" locality alterna I obtained from Andrew Godambe a few years back and plan on breeding for the first time this year. I've seen this locality listed as Sanderson, River Road, and Alpine. Anyone have an opinion of what it is?

you should ask Andrew to be clear because a Big Hill is just that, a Big Hill.

There is a Big Hill on the River Road west of Lajitas, and a Big Hill 6 miles south of Alpine, and a Big Hill 9 miles north of Sanderson.

Knowing Andrew your snakes are probably either River Road Big Hills or Alpine Big Hills, but like I said, ask him to be sure.

I have even heard of the Langtry "Blairs Hill" referred to as the big hill.

But there is only one Big Hill in alterna land for me. Love dat river road!

There's one at Ft. Lancaster too

Maybe we should examine all of the different alterna morphs from all of the different "big hills" and rate them!! Then, we could arran........

Geeeeezzz, I need to get out in the field.

If they came from me they're from the "big hill" on FM 170. I have animals from the "big hill" south of Alpine, but haven't sold pairs from that locale. Hope the animals do well for you! I didn't breed any alterna last year, but plan to pair up a few this year...

Best,
Andrew

I was getting ready to post my new additon over here on the alterna forum, and low & behold, the topic is "big hill" locality. Here is my 05 male I just purchased from Tim at Vivid reptiles. He is a "Big Hill" River road locality. Thanks for looking.
