Jeff, I am 100% sure one of my females is pregnant. She is HUGE. So much so that her scales are stretched very far apart. How are yours? I know gestation is approximately 5 months...i am a little concerned that we are going to Vegas for 10 days. I have a buddy that will be checking in on things, but he would be freaked out to separate the young from momma if she gave birth. IF she gave birth while i was out, would there be any concerns with them being all together for a few days. My thoughts were to set up a lot of hiding places in the event this happened. First copulation for her was beginning of December and last was beginning of Jan.
I haven't seen any alvarezi for sale in the last year, so hopefully people will be interested in these beauties.

....I am close to 100% sure with my female. She was bred multiple times by both males from august thru november so perhaps she will lay in april or may. Babies should be fine so long as they are full term and can get to water. Adult alvarezi are not large enough to worry about babies being crushed by them. I would guess that there will be buyers for the first dozen to so produced this year. There must have been some captive born the last couple of years but I do not remember seeing ANY 2004 or 2005 babies for sale.
