if i wre to get a younger bearded dragon would it be better to........

feed it 1/4 inch crickets until i knew it could handle 1/2???? is it o.k. to feed a 9 inch male juvie 1/4 or would i be better off feeding 1/2???? because i want to get a 6 inch one and a 9 inch one, set them up in separate cages, and preferably only have to get one size o' cricket. what do you guys think??? thanx and let me know!!!!!!

Most cricket places on the internet offer a 3/8 size that would be in the middle of the sizes you asked about. At least www.reptilefood.com does I wouldn't feed the 6 inch beardie half inchers though but if those are your only choices 1/4 or 1/2 go smaller if you order a 1000 by the time they get to the last ones they should have grown a bit. I would look into buying on the internet for two dragons it will save lots of money, cause baby dragons eat a ton.

2.5 week old crickets are in between 1/4 and 1/2. You might be able to get away with using that size.
