I don't feel like doing the pewter x bumble bee cross, I'm not that bored, but to answer your other question, pastel x bumble is better than spider x bumble, b/c you could get some killerbees that way, but not using the spider.

There is no super form of the Spider so breeding it back to a Bee does not do anything, whereas adding more Pastel gene send it to lighter colors and the Killer Bee. Additionally though Spiders are proliferating they still are relatively new and sourced back to just a few small lines. There are head bobbing and other genetice defects out there...and most breeders are trying to avoid them by bredding out to normals, etc., and not breeding spider to spider.

To find the results of bumblebee X pewter first break it down to genotypes

bumblebee = het spider and het pastel
pewter = het cinnamon and het pastel

On the pastel gene you would get eggs that each have a 25% chance of being homozygous pastel (super pastel), 50% chance heterozygous pastel (regular pastel) and 25% chance of being normal for pastel.

However, you then need to overlay those results with 50% chance heterozygous spider (normal spider) and an independent 50% chance heterozygous cinnamon (normal cinnamon). Looking at just these two genes you have 25% spider cinnamon, 25% cinnamon, 25% spider, and 25% normal. Laying these odds on top of each of the three pastel states you get the following odds for each egg:

1/16 het cinnamon, het spider, homozygous pastel (aka cinnamon killer bee or spider sterling pastel)
1/16 het spider, homozygous pastel (aka killer bee)
1/16 het cinnamon, homozygous pastel (aka sterling pastel)
1/16 homozygous pastel (aka super pastel)
1/8 het cinnamon, het spider, het pastel (aka cinnamon bumblebee or spider pewter)
1/8 het spider, het pastel (aka bumble bee)
1/8 het cinnamon, het pastel (aka pewter)
1/8 het pastel (aka pastel)
1/16 het cinnamon, het spider (aka cinnamon spider)
1/16 het spider (aka spider)
1/16 het cinnamon (aka cinnamon)
1/16 normal
