Drying out cypress mulch.

You guys got any good ideas. I went to the pet shop they do have aspen but its $5.99 for like enough to do a 10 gallon tank. Thats the only place I can find it.

Ahhh yes comes from Lowe's pretty soaked this time of year. wo options we tried. Put it in the sterlite boxe and sit it on a pharmacy type heating pad lid open set to high...dried out pretty quick. Put in pans in oven set to 125-150ish...but then I got worried about fire so we did the tubs thing. The oven was real efficient though.

That is rape for that amount of cypress. I get my cypress from Lowes (its about 4 bucks for enough to do 10 4x2x1 enclosures several times over) I buy it, put it in a large rubbermaid tub and then put it in my shed to dry it out.

Yes i missed that part of the post. We get ours at Home Depot, same deal 4 bucks, 40 lbs, lasts a long time.

No thats how much the aspen is ($5.99). I can get cypress really cheap thats why I wanna dry it out.

lol, I saw my mistake shortly after posting. Even for aspen that is quite an outragous price for it.
