I've got a few young burms who are all infected with (blood)mites. Does anyone have a good tip how to get rid of them?

I've got a few young burms who are all infected with (blood)mites. Does anyone have a good tip how to get rid of them?
here's how i did it,and without chemicals :first quarantine the snakes from any unaffected animals in your collection;a totally different room.for the next few weeks they will have to live in small plastic enclosures-shoe or sweater boxes(make sure they have enough room). second they will have to be bathed once a day for a week,the mites will drown and float to the top.warm water abt 90 degrees.you will have to hold their bodies under the water for a few minutes.then let them soak for an hour or so.you cant really submerge the head,so slather it with veggie oil,especially around the eyes and labial pits and nostrils(not in the nostrils)scrub the enclosure with soap and water every time you remove the snakes and discard the substrate(i use neqwspaper)10 days after you've started all this soak them again and blast out the cages,some remaining mite eggs may have hatched.i kept mine quarantined for about 3 months...maybe overkill but i wanted to be sure!i havent seen a mite since.if you plan to keep them in a wooden enclosure after that,ensure that it is mite free.
