This snake is only a bit lighter color than mine that I posted earlier. This snake is different how?
I just dont get it.
Look at the eyes, it is not a good example, but there REALLY ALOT lighter than a normals eyes, also this snake is LIGHTER in the black (blushing/fading) and has a more lemon yellow instead of the light golden/tan color. Also I give you this snake (even though you can't see it in the pic) has a CLEAR WHITE belly. Here is the big difference, this snake will produce more pastels and a super if bred to another pastel, yous is normal. Look at mine pictured below, he looks like a morph, but he is normal to my knowledge. If you wnat yours to be a morph, breed him then breed him to his doughters and if you get some babies with REALLY different patterns/colors, you have a morph. I personally think you have a beautiful normal, no biggie, buy a pastel female and breed him to her and get some AWESOME pastels!

You are misinterpreting what Im getting at.
I love Xander to death, he's the sweetest little guy on Earth and I like him just the way he is.
My point is that the snake in the pic is only marginally different (I dont even see any more blushing than on mine). Ive seen pics (and real, live) of pastels that were obvious...almost pink in color, etc. Im just wondering how one can really distinguish between borderline pastel and borderline normals when they really do appear very similar.
Thats all.
Yes there are some normal ball pythons that can resemple a Pastel somewhat but the fact remains that they either are or are not pastels.
A Pastel Jungle is a proven co-dominant mutation. The only one for that matter. When you breed a PJ to anther PJ you stand a 25% chance to produce a Super Pastel which is far more extreme than a pastel Jungle.
Although you might have snake that closely resembles a PJ in color or brightness, when bred it will likely only produce more normal ball pythons. Not that there is anything wrong with that!
I know it is somewhat comfusing but after a while and when you see PJ's first hand in person you will understand.

You guys all know that's a Pastel - No response said that a wannabe one. He's my new addition to collection, Grazzini (sp?) line Pastel Jungle. To see him in person, I realized that a true Pastel Jungle is much much different from those wannabe. I have a light blushing female (his future mate) that I will post picture later so that you can see the different. Thanks for looking.
P/s: His belly is clean....
It might be an albino het. I have heard that albino hets sometimes have a pinkish color. Please correct me if I am wrong.
