'04 L.g.nigra

Looks like a holbrooki (head & markings). Do they fade as the snake gets older?

Yes, holbrooki can look similar to nigra and vice-versa. And yes, nigra can lose their pattern as they get older.

My favorite kings are eastern/goini and various crosses.

My favorite is the one I have which is very docile real nice. A ruthven albino. Hides alot but does come out almost daily and relaxes among the logs in his tank . I am also thinking about getting this summer a mex king . Suprised your ruthven isnt your favorite .

Because, when i was a kid many years ago i always liked the looks of easterns, maybe because i was burned out on cali.

Okay gotcha I was curious as you have so many kings. I myself am afraid of CA kings must say some like the high white real pretty .
My friends high white which she bought from breeder here incredible looking but big biter.

That's classic! Except he looks like he has jowels! That is an awesome eastern, I hope to get some this year. I like the black and super whites with nice clean chains best, but they are all awesome. I like the patternless and striped goini also. Guess I'll have to get 'em all! Hear that Zee?! I'm in for at least a pair!!!
