I couldn't get too close before they had their mouths full of rat but once they did it was easy.

These are big small rats that they are eating and they look tiny when they wrap them up. The 2 hypos are near 5 foot and the normal female is just a bit smaller. The male is the bottom one and he is just over 5 foot and the female is the top one at just under 5 foot.

They all finished at the same time and they all thought the same thing. I WANT MORE They are not shy and are always hungry which is my kind of snake. I hate problem feeders.

Thanks for looking

container? and if so, have you had any problems with them attacking each other after eating?

I usually mist them as they finish eating and they get distracted by the mist. They did go after each other in the past but it was before I started misting. I am also in the room the whole time. The wall opposite them has about 30 snakes on it and the one to the side has another 20 or so plus a baby rack on the other side with 42 drawers almost all full and finally the wall they are on has 12 snakes. I have 2 other cages with more than one snake in it so I feed the 3 of them first and then go about everyone else. Basically I am in there for about a hour at least after they are fed.

I did have a problem with the normal female going after the male and biting him at the beginning of the breeding season last year. She gave him a pretty good slice on the side but at that time most of my breeders where together and it would have been a problem anyway I would have to guess. She was just not ready and not in the mood at all apparently.

Further down they get yellow then orange I think...

Yep, typed that far and I wasn't sure so I went and checked... Of course I just fed again tonight so they are all amped up and... yeah... I am bleeding...thanks Mark

Anyway the white is just under the chin. Just behind the chin yellowish orange comes in and then by a third of the way down the belly they are all orange. The pic was from about 5-6 feet away and I used a flash so some of the color was lost.

They are actually fine and are way overrated as being mean. Just when the smell of rodents is in the air everything is food. You could put a 12 pound rabbit in there and they would all grab a leg and give it a try.

I love good feeders. This time of the year, which is the pre breeding time to fatten up, all my snakes are nuts. At least the glades let go... my kings well they hang on and try to kill my hand.

Cool. Thanks. My two wc are orange all the way down and one of my cb is. The others (sibs to cb) are not as "nice".
They are really one of the most enjoyable snakes to own. Have you ever had one refuse to eat? Not for long I bet!
They always seem healthy and strong. Some I guess, are meaner than others, but I have always found they calm right down after being handled. Great snakes.
I remember seeing them way up in the trees at night by the Lake and you could tell them from the (back then) invasive yellows a mile away with a flashlight. The yellows would be almost white looking at night compared to the 'glades when looking at the bellies.
